Established in 2002, Threads and Treads is a family run, independent school uniform and shoe shop for all of your children’s needs. Based in the heart of Verwood in Dorset, we are only a few miles from Ringwood, Bournemouth, Wimborne and Christchurch.

We offer a traditional shoe fitting service for your child, with a wide selection of brands in stock such as, Startrite, Geox, Hush Puppies, Ricosta, Superfit, Skechers and Primigi. All of our staff are fully trained to professionally fit your child’s shoes.
As children grow, it is of great importance to have well fitting shoes which give good support to your children’s feet – making it super comfortable for playtime. We are also experienced in fitting orthotics referrals from hospitals and podiatry clinics.

We stock the official school uniforms for our local schools and currently hold uniform for Verwood CE First School and Nursery, Hillside First School, Wimborne St Giles CE First School and Nursery, Cranborne First School, Poulner Infant and Junior Schools, Emmanuel Middle School, St James' First School and Nursery and Ringwood Infant and Junior Schools. As well as an extensive range of general school wear.

For out of school activities, we not only hold a selection of general and team sportswear, but also stock an extensive range of official Girl Guiding uniform and accessories.
